Keystatic is a new open-source CMS designed for Next.js and Astro projects that stores content in files (YAML, JSON, Markdown) in the same Git repository as the code. Content editors use a Keystatic-generated admin UI; changes create Git commits. Unlike database CMSes (Sanity, Contentful), Keystatic requires no backend database — content lives in the repo. Made by the Thinkmill team (creators of KeystoneJS).
